About SourceForge DOAP
The metadata available for SourceForge is by far the most rich so far.
There are a few problems though, mostly due to blocking of some pages by SourceForge's robots.txt. In the near future project owners will be able to claim DOAP as their own and edit it.
You may notice older DOAP from SourceForge isn't as detailed as the latest. The spider has improved and will re-index the older records in due time.
Feel free to use the DOAP you find on this site any way you wish. Note that the URLs for DOAP will likely change after this site goes 'stable'. DOAP is meant to be decentralized. If you find DOAP for your project on here, download it, publish it on your website, and then PingTheSemanticWeb so people can use it.
For now you can obtain a DOAP record using this URL scheme:
http://doapspace.org/doap/sf/PACKAGE_NAME
You will need to use the lower-case UNIX SourceForge project name.
